Time to Register for the 2013 RFTC!

This year is our 7^th anniversary and I would love for you to join our team again!

This year’s race is on Saturday, June 8^th at 8 AM.  It will be held at The Plano Campuses of HP and The Campus at Legacy, which is located on Legacy at Parkwood Drive, east of the North Dallas Tollway.  (This is the same location as last year.)

This year’s registration fee is $35.  That will get you a race t-shirt and the race entry fee.  Go to the Race Registration Page: http://northtexas.info-komen.org/site/TR/RacefortheCure/PNO_NorthTexasAffiliate?fr_id=3165&pg=entry.  In the middle of the screen click on “Join an Existing Team.”  Then enter the team name, Plano Cure-saders or team company, City of Plano.  This year packet mailing is an extra $5.  Team t-shirts will be $7.  You can interoffice the money to me at the Tom Muehlenbeck Center.

This year, we will be adding our youngest member to the team.  My first child, Austin James Farris, has rescheduled his 1^st birthday party to attend.  (His birthday is 6/6/12).  I have registered him for a new feature that started last year called “Babies for the Cure.”  For $10, he receives a commemorative race bib!  Did you know that there has been children as young as 3 years old diagnosed with breast cancer?
