It’s great to see that we have 10 returning Plano Cure-saders already registered for the 2009 Race for the Cure. I hope we are able to get the same wonderful turnout as last year.

It's RFTC Time Again!
Hello 2008 Plano Cure-saders!
It’s time once again to register for the North Texas Race for the Cure. I would like to welcome you all back for this year’s race on Saturday, June 6th at the EDS Headquarters in Plano. The 5K run/walk begins at 8 AM. There is also at 50-yard dash for kids and a family 1-mile run/walk. There is something for everyone!
The registration fee is $25 per person. Children who are 12 years and younger are $18, as well at Seniors over the age of 65. For this price you will receive a race packet including Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure t-shirt and race bib. I am currently looking for departments to sponsor the team t-shirts. If am not successful, a team t-shirt will be $6 extra.

We have another winner! Jennifer Bradley of Fire Administration raised the most money for our team. She raised $480! She has won a gift certificate to Sports Authority. Other people who deserve honorable mention are Elaina Bickers, Jacqueline Ellis, Heather Miller, Michelle Seyl, and Paula Vavra. Together, we all raised $1,574.

Make sure you write the team name on your Friends for the Cure form, so the money is sent to the right place.
